Summary/Abstract: The article characterizes selected issues surrounding choral art in Poland with regard to conductors’ education system, access to choral singing, general characterization of choral composers’ artistic works after 1945, as well as academic promotion path of choral conducting and oratorio-cantata pedagogues, obtaining PhD and associate professor degrees. Particular focus is laid on the elaboration of area catalogue – topics of doctoral dissertations and habilitation works, both in the form of recorded and published CDs and DVDs, as well as compact book publications – monographs submitted for evaluation and defended in the form of awarding doctoral and habilitation degrees in the years 2003-2023.
