Summary/Abstract: In November 2023, the Family Law Review, in partnership with the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Law and Universul Juridic Publishing House, hosted the 6th edition of the (Inter)national Civil Law Conference. The event, themed "In Search of Balance Between Present Needs and Past Experience," featured numerous renowned speakers discussing various aspects of family law. Key presentations included discussions on the subsidiary liability for damage caused by individuals lacking discernment, and the principle of responsibility in public procurement law. The conference also included the launch of recent editions of the Family Law Review and an award ceremony recognizing significant contributions to the field.
