The socialist state reflected these essential changes through the Family Code of 1954, emphasizing the aim of strong and happy families in our society. The Family Code underlines the principles of equality, mutual respect, and affection between spouses, and the family's role in the healthy upbringing of children, contributing to the strength of our socialist nation. The Code addresses both personal and patrimonial obligations, ensuring that these effects are fulfilled in the spirit of complete equality of rights between men and women, respect for moral values, and fostering creative energies.
