Summary/Abstract: Wherever we may be, with few exceptions, the divorce is the final destination of what was once a perfect life as a couple. We strongly notice that when our legal literature decides to analyse the comparative law, it usually refers to the French or Quebecoise law, totally ignoring the Ibero-American region, despite its vastness and (r)evolution. In the present study, we have decided to bring into attention to those passionate about family law some general landmarks on divorce, as it is regulated in some countries from the Ibero-American region, more exactly Spain, Argentina and Mexico.
