Health Security as an Important Element of National Security

Summary/Abstract: Health security is an important element of national security and interacts with other security subsystems. It plays an important role in the reproduction of the human factor in the aspect of dynamic changes and challenges in the security environment and the socio-economic environment. Increasing health security is a strategic task of the EU member states. The relationship between health security and environmental security is an actual problem, priority and element of national security, which is why they are regulated in a number of state normative acts. The importance of health care for national security is of utmost importance, as health security issues are not yet a top priority for society.
