Summary/Abstract: The aim of the work is to examine the prerequisites for realizing the convergence of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) services in integration with edge computing at 5G. Results are presented describing the nature of the convergence of AIoT and multi-access edge computing (MEC), based on the prerequisites and architecture of AIoT deployment in business. The points of contribution are related to clarifying the specifics of the use of „cloud computing” and „edge - cloud” cooperation. The specifics of using AIoT with MEC at 5G are also clarified.
