Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the figure of the teacher and silent man (cichociemny) Władysław Wiśniewski, connected with Krakow by family ties and work. A peasant’s son who before World War II was one of approximately 250,000 students who obtained their high school final exams in the interwar period.
