Summary/Abstract: The Ilinden organization is a legal organization of veterans of the Internal Macedonian-Odrina Revolutionary Organization (VMORO), which existed in Bulgaria in the period 1921-1947. With the accession of parts of Macedonia to the Kingdom in 1941, conditions were created for the expansion of its activities in the new lands . During the celebration of significant dates and celebrations on the occasion of the anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising and other Bulgarian national holidays, the relations between the people of Ilinden and the Bulgarian military-administrative authorities become apparent. We also get a clear picture of the opinion and positions of the revolutionaries from VMORO towards the Bulgarian government and state at that time.
