Summary/Abstract: The paper addresses the situation on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula and the changes brought about by two years of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war. The achievements of Ukraine’s Armed Forces in the Black Sea, where they have seriously damaged a third of the warships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, are emphasised. The prospects for the liberation and further reintegration of Crimea are analysed. Special attention has been paid to the status of the constitutionally recognised Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and the possibility of its transformation into national-territorial autonomy for the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.
