Summary/Abstract: Over the past three decades, the term “failed state” has become popular among academics and policymakers alike. This study aims to reveal the historical, structural, social, political, military and economic conditions underlying the term "Failed State" through international indexes. In addition, the study will evaluate Somalia's state failure and its underlying reasons by taking these indicators as reference.
