Summary/Abstract: Our society today needs new educational models that strengthen the capacity, skills and entrepreneurial thinking of students and learners from all backgrounds, ages and cultures aimed at creating future social innovators and agents of change in Europe. The UN Sustainable Development Goals also highlight the role of quality education, calling for ensuring inclusive and equitable education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. The current report reviews the possible role of universities in promoting socially responsible innovations while presenting good practices and applications from Europe.
