Summary/Abstract: An important element of graffiti subculture is urban space; elements of it comprise the “canvas” for writers. For this reason, among others, municipalities, community centres, foundations, etc., organize legal graffiti festivals, which are particularly aimed at preventing illegals. In recent years, there have been many such events, which are often international in nature. These events are proof of the globalization, commercialization and commodification of graffiti.
