Summary/Abstract: In this study, the opinions of parents with disabled children regarding their restaurant preferences were examined. This study determined what parents of disabled children experienced regarding their preferences for eating at restaurants or outside. Case research, one of the qualitative research methods, was preferred in the study. An interview was held with 8 parents of disabled children between the ages of 4-17 living in Mersin between January 14, 2024 and January 16, 2024. Content analysis, one of the qualitative research analysis techniques, was applied to the data obtained in the study. From the results obtained, it can be seen that more mothers participated in the interview than parents of disabled children. It is seen that disabled children are mostly girls and their disability is mostly physical. It seems that parents and their disabled children are more likely to never go to a restaurant. In general, after the interview, it is seen that parents with disabled children experience difficulties in food and beverage establishments. Based on these findings, it can be said that it is a fact that should not be ignored that disabled children and their parents have the right to have the same experiences as other normal individuals in society in food and beverage establishments. It is suggested that appropriate arrangements should be made for disabled children and their families in food and beverage establishments and that restaurants should have the necessary service elements. By reaching more parents of disabled children, a more detailed study can be conducted across the country, different factors and problems can be identified and suggestions for solutions can be offered.
