Summary/Abstract: The aim of the work is to present a qualitative assessment of some of the features and innovations of IPv6 related to industry requirements. Convergence between network and cloud is discussed. Results containing contributing moments have been achieved: an analysis of the features of IPv6 in the industry has been made; specific technologies (as well as IPv6 protocols) leading to advantages for industry using network infrastructures are described. Key requirements for realizing cloud-to-network interoperability in the industry are summarized, with an emphasis on IPv6-based data centers and APN6 networks that are implemented and developed based on IPv6 innovations.
