Summary/Abstract: In Bulgaria, in the last 4-5 years, there has been a big decline in the production of artificial fibers and problems in the sector that provides a livelihood for a large part of the population of those regions where these enterprises are located. There is a lot of lack of raw materials and markets that the industry has to deal with in years of crisis and this suffocates production and competition with other producers of the same product and this reflects a lot on the development of the regions that have enterprises that only deal with this activity. This does not give the owners of these enterprises much choice, but makes them reduce the volume of production and even close these enterprises and wait for the improvement and development of the lost markets and raw materials, which are of great importance for the improvement of the quality of production and, accordingly, the return of the lost markets, which are very necessary for the development of this sector. Many of the things that make the sector suffocate with the epidemic and the political crisis have taken Bulgaria to the last place in Europe in terms of economic development and investments in the chemical industry sector and specifically textile fibers. In which sector many of the manufacturers are very dependent on cheap raw materials and electricity to produce the final product. Much of the industry's equipment is outdated and almost nothing has been invested since the last century, why is the sector very vulnerable because of the war in Ukraine and the flooding of the market with Russian and Chinese goods that are below the cost price of which it comes out as a final product of production. This is forcing many of these businesses to change their economic policies in order to survive and not have to close their doors for a very long time and aggravate the already complex economic situation of the shit.
