Summary/Abstract: The presented scientific paper defines the essence and objectives of project-based learning in a learning and non-learning environment. It focuses on the research question: how the school and its partner organizations perform the function of educational institutions, what are the tools to realize this function, what audiences are targeted by educational activities and programs and what are the trends in this process. He also presents in detail a good practice implemented in a Bulgarian Innovative Secondary School, which includes students from primary school level.
