Summary/Abstract: The novel Mezgil by Kazat Akmatov, one of the important names of Kyrgyz literature, known as a writer, dramaturg and politician, is important in terms of the subject, cast of characters, place and time, as well as introducing the author's language and style in terms of syntax. In the study, after giving brief information about the author Akmatov, the novel Mezgil and its syntax, the compound verb structures used in the novel Mezgil are grouped. In the study, compound verb structures in Kyrgyz Turkish are exemplified with sentences selected from the novel Mezgil. In the selected sample sentences, the predicate elements consisting of compound verbs were determined according to the page numbers of the novel. Examining the novel Mezgil in terms of syntax will introduce the author's language and style and contribute to studies on the Turkish language.
