Summary/Abstract: Şanlıurfa, an important agricultural center within the scope of the Southeastern Anatolia Project, is increasingly faced with the effects of climate change. The region's agricultural sector is affected by factors directly related to climate change, such as temperature increases, changes in precipitation patterns and depletion of water resources. Increases in temperature can reduce the productivity of agricultural products, especially in summer, increase the water needs of plants and increase the risk of drought. Changing the amount and pattern of rainfall makes it difficult to use water resources sustainably in regions dependent on irrigation systems. Additionally, climate change increases the potential for damage to agricultural products by facilitating the spread of pests and diseases. This situation necessitates farmers in Şanlıurfa, whose main source of income is agricultural production, to develop new agricultural techniques to adapt to climate change and to reconsider their water management strategies. Therefore, it is of great importance to promote climate-friendly and climate-adapted agricultural practices and to raise farmers' awareness on this issue in order to maintain the sustainability of agricultural production.
