Summary/Abstract: This work paves the way for a new way of approaching the work of the modern “father of economic sciences,” Adam Smith (1723-1790), this time from a linguistic perspective. It is the intention of the author to identify in the vast list of scattered works of Adam Smith and to reveal his works with a philological character, to make a functional analysis of the discursive fact using a series of theoretical knowledge listed in this paper.
