Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to explore the problems and challenges of ensuring the compatibility of artificial intelligence (AI) based solutions with the basic mechanisms of the personal data protection regime within the European Union. The article discusses various aspects of the processing of personal data by AI systems, such as the legal basis, information obligations, rights of data subjects, and the risk of violation of fundamental rights. The article points out the need for appropriate legal regulations as well as technical and organizational mechanisms to effectively implement the principles and objectives of the RODO in the context of the application of AI.
