Summary/Abstract: The latest issue of the journal features texts dedicated to a wide range of topics related to Polish non-fiction literature. These contributions stem from the VIII International Conference “Polish Literature in the World: Polish Non-Fiction Literature – Perspectives of the Sender and the Recipient”, organised by the University of Silesia in Katowice. The authors examine genres such as biography, autobiography, reportage, and guidebooks, highlighting their shift towards the literary mainstream due to both reader preferences and literary strategies. The articles in this issue provide scholarly reflections on the presence of Polish non-fiction literature beyond Poland’s borders, thereby expanding the state of research on literary reception mechanisms and translation strategies.
