Summary/Abstract: Is immersion a new poetics of reception? – it defines the concept of imaging in various contexts: computer games, in the reading of works of art and popular works (criminal), in thereading of paintings and visual installations, as well as learning foreign languages. The argument adopted in the report refers to narratology, the works of Mieke Bal, Michael Heim,Marie-Laure Ryan and others.
