Summary/Abstract: On October 29, 1923, the regime changed in Türkiye. For this reason, October 29 was considered very important, and October 29 of each year, the first of which was in 1924, began to be celebrated as the "Republic Day". The most important of these was the Republic Day of 1933. October 29, 1933 was considered important in many respects and a special importance was attached to the celebrations of that year. There are many internal and external reasons for this. However, one feature constituted the common aspect of the message intended to be given to everyone. This was the desire to show how many great things have been done in a short period of ten years by a regime about which there were no positive thoughts when it was established ten years ago and no hopes that it would develop and grow. For this purpose, the celebration ceremonies were intended to demonstrate the highest level of enthusiasm. Every detail of the celebration ceremonies was meticulously thought out and put into practice. This research aims to determine the meaning and importance attributed to the tenth anniversary of the Republic in the conditions of the period, based on the documents of that day.
