Summary/Abstract: The Baroque era represented a defining moment in the evolution and development of European culture, marking a periodof transformations and innovations in all the artistic domains. Characterized by expressiveness, drama, and opulence,the Baroque was profoundly influenced by the socio-cultural and ideological context that shaped the thought and society ofthe 17th and 18th centuries. Within the cultural landscape of the period, opera played a central role, subtly illustrating thedialogue between the philosophical thought and opera creation. The Lyric Theater became a relevant medium for reflectingand reinterpreting the ideological principles, contributing to shaping the cultural consciousness of the time. The study analyzesthe relationship between the philosophical ideas and the lyrical creation during the Baroque period, investigating the mode inwhich the social-cultural context and the ideology of the era influenced the opera art and the ways of expressing the philosophicalideas in this artistic form.
