Reading literature. About a role of literary works not only in the light of opinions of experts

Summary/Abstract: The Author concentrates herself on a role of literary works and reading thereof. In relationto the above, she presents positions of experts on the issue. She is also interested in requiredreading in the reformed primary school. Apart from theoretical inquiries, the considerationsare based on the results of a survey which was carried out among a seven-grade pupils in2018. Due to the gathered material, the Author pays attention to an analysis of the first surveyquestion concerning the benefit from reading literary works/ required reading for pupils. Thegathered material is rich which favours carrying out a wide analysis in the light of opinions ofthe experts on the issue as well as applicable ministerial documents.
