Theatre in the Online Space?

Summary/Abstract: Can we talk of intimacy, of a personal touch in the case of online theatre? This is the question raised in this essay by Attila Komán, who encourages us to explore the potential of new media and to retain the visceral dimension of creativity. The author argues that it is worth interpreting Brook’s definition broadly, and to understand “space” as the medium and channel of communication, “someone” as any traceable imprint of the participant, and viewing as any kind of perception.
