Biography - documentary and bibliographical sources. Overview of the exhibition

Summary/Abstract: According to the Explanatory Dictionary of the Romanian language, a biography is a written and commented account of a person's life. Based on this definition, the idea of an exhibition on biography was a real challenge in order to identify documentary sources that would provide a record of the writings about the life and activity of some people and then to make a selection of documents to be exhibited. Thus, the biography is reflected through memoirs, diaries, personal correspondence, characterizations and last but not least autobiographies, coming from the following archival fonds and collections held by the National Archives Timiș.
