Summary/Abstract: One of the ways that students are engaging thoughtlessly on the lessons, and the educational effects and quality of the acquired knowledge increase, is the application of the problem model of work (PMR). Considering that the contents of Nature and society are complex, interdisciplinary and allow for the application of various innovative models, we presented in our work the theoretical basics of the problematic model of work and the results of empirical research on the attitudes of teachers on the application of PMR in the teaching of Nature and Society. Our goal was to discover the problems of using PMR from the perspective of teachers and to obtain data relevant for improving the quality of organization and realization of PMR, as well as teaching of Nature and Society. The sample consisted of 62 teachers from different parts of Serbia, and the results showed that teachers, regardless of their years of work experience in education, the environment in which they work, the structure of the class and the class they are currently teaching, generally have a positive attitude towards applying the problem model of work in Continuing Nature and Society.
