Summary/Abstract: The demographic indicators and trends relating to the Danube municipalities have very alarming trends, measured on the basis of the number of their population. The established negative growth is a key factor in adapting the appropriate toolkit covering the plans for integrated development of the municipalities. The research is aimed at demographic assessment, using verbal-graphic models of population dynamics, statistical assessment and trend analysis for the selected Danube municipalities. The mentioned approaches allow drawing conclusions and evaluations for taking measures and actions to solve the problems related to these territorial units. Through verbal and graphic models, a negative increase in the population in the Danube municipalities is visualized. The regression equations and the coefficient of determination used in the present scientific study help to explain the change in the population.
