Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to present the threats to the security of the civilian population resulting from the mining of the territory of Ukraine during military operationsrelated to the attack on this country by the troops of the Russian Federation (FR). Miningin Ukraine is caused both by: the massive use of mine-barrage measures used to buildclassic minefields (both anti-tank and anti-personnel minefields), the widespread use ofImprovised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in combat operations, various types of unexplodedordnance and other explosive and dangerous items. The author of the article describes themeans of combat used during the fighting on the territory of Ukraine, the use of whichcontributes to the contamination of the area and causes a deadly threat to the civilianpopulation. It also presents the tasks carried out by the state services of Ukraine in orderto clear the territory of this country in order to neutralize the threats generated by explosive and dangerous items of military origin as soon as possible and to enable the civilianpopulation to return to a normal, safe life. In the final part of the article, the author presentsthe Polish implementation system clearing the territory of the country from explosive anddangerous objects.
