Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the development of patient rights in Poland. The developmentof patient’s rights was discussed, the first regulations in Poland regarding this issue werepointed out, the current regulations in the field of patient’s rights were characterized,and attempts were made to discuss the state of observance of patient’s rights in medicalfacilities.
