Summary/Abstract: We expanded on these two antiquity classics, Platon and Aristotel, as the first important elements of political philosophy lie here, among essential thoughts about the nature of ideology and about the legitimacy of power. We tried to highlight their relevance for contemporary political philosophy. The method we employed was structural, in that we analitically determined the elements of the idea, which we then compared using Plato’s Republic and Aristotle’s Politics.
