Summary/Abstract: In the essay I’m looking for a subject matter of sociological research concepts formationstrategies in sociological works of Vida Bajc from The University of Yale. Ms. Bajc analysisof modern “security apparatus” follows such paths of critical sociology of security which takesespecially bureaucratic methods of “absolute security” production into account. Special researchsubjects of Ms. Bajc are techniques of public spaces creation and control. Cognition of securityaccording to Vida Bajc is anchored in patterns of European culture individualism. In such framesof reference asserts itself real and symbolic segmentation of society in contradistinction to orientalholistic culture and its acceptance of ritual insecurity. In my commentary of critical sociology ofMs. Bajc I’m searching for a web of sociological concepts which delineate sociology of securityresearch subject.
