Summary/Abstract: Craft culture, as a concept much broader than craft itself, is part of economic culture. It includes both the broadly understood craft community and its surroundings. This text presents the characteristics of craft culture and its relationship with digital craft culture, online craft culture, maker culture, do-it-yourself culture, innovation culture, participatory culture, heterogeneous culture and sustainable development culture. The text presents the results of a systematic literature review – a bibliographic study carried out on texts indexed in the Scopus database. The article aims to examine the relationship between craft culture and moving towards sustainable development by defining trends within the selected topic, as well as an attempt to identify the research gap. The research results are presented by specifying a group of terms considering popularity and novelty and by directly referencing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
