Summary/Abstract: This article examines the term problem-based learning, the use of problem-based learning technology in the modern world. The advantages of problem-based learning technology compared to traditional methods and forms of organization of the educational process are substantiated. Through problem-based learning, two phases and stages of activity are discovered - individual learning and teamwork. Problem-based learning is experiential learning. A problem situation occurs when a person has the cognitive need and intellectual ability to solve a problem. It contributes to the development of the ability to analyze information, independently obtain knowledge from various sources, choose the best ways to solve a problem and draw up a plan for their implementation.
