Summary/Abstract: On October 25, 2023, Lazarski University in Warsaw hosted the third edition of the conference entitled “Road traffic safety and standards of settling motor vehicle liability insurance and the role of an expert witness. “Road traffic safety and the standards of liquidation of traffic damage under motor vehicle liability insurance and the role of the court expert”. The issues and problems raised during the conference not only aroused great interest among the participants, but, above all, led to discussions and postulates aimed at changing legal regulations and developing some kind of patterns and standards to reconcile the interests of the injured on the one hand, and insurance companies on the other.
