Summary/Abstract: The article presents an ethnological analysis of pilgrimages to places famous for worship in Kashubia region, with particular emphasis on the city of Wejherowo.These pilgrimages play an important role in building not only the Christian faith but also the sense of community and ethnic identity of the inhabitants of this region. They also reflect social processes and structures. An important practice carried out during these pilgrimages is the feretrons’ bow, which is a unique element of the Kashubian cultural heritage.
