Missionary Insights into Christian Hymnography. Theological Essay

Summary/Abstract: It is known that, in the contemporary theological environment, the mission of the Church cannot be anything other than the concrete and living expression of the way in which love with and in Christ is manifested in esse mundus. In other words, the duty of the contemporary missionary (this includes, of course, the Christian) is to help ʻso that everyone lives the divine love... love [which] is naturally universalʼ. Christ, the preaching center of the Christian missionary, is Love par excellence, preached ʻin all the worldʼ (Mt. 24, 14). The current study, which aims to be a theological essay, tries to discover some missionary perspectives that Christian hymnography exploits within the Christian cult.
