Summary/Abstract: This work was created in desire to try to remove the injustice done too soon forgetting of Ljubica Ravasi (1916-1995), one of the most important Serbian actresses in the Serbian National Theatre in the post-war period. In this theatre she made over eighty roles. She started with acting in the National theatre of Dunavska banovina, with director A. Vereschagin, then she went to the National Theatre in Skopje. There, with V. Živojinović she met Reinhart's school, which was a complement to the previous school of Stanislavski. In Serbian National Theatre she started with director J. Lj. Rakitin, then she continued cooperation with all the most important directors - from B. Hanauska, J. Konjović, M. Šuvaković, to D. Đurković, D. Mijač and a guest from Poland K. Daymek. She played in drama of world and domestic classics, as well as contemporary playwrights. She had the gift for painting and she was extremely musical. Her life story can be articulated from rich documentation, as well as her poetics of acting because we can find registered relevant critical record about her roles, an exhaustive repertoire, listed numerous awards and recognitions.
