THE STUDENT THEATRE THAT BRINGS US CLOSER

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on theatre student festivals in Romania. The main purpose of this research was to map out these events and explain how important these festivals are for young performers who need help to be noticed by individuals who can assist them in their future careers. Each event that is analysed has a short description: history, management, status and future possible directions. The research highlights the benefits of these events for students, universities, and the community. The final part of this article examines some of the characteristics of theatre festivals.
