Summary/Abstract: The Romanian legislator introduced amendments to Law no. 85/2014 through the enactment of Law no. 216/2022, following the implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/1023 by the European Parliament and Council on June 20, 2019. Among these amendments is the inclusion of provisions designed to harmonize insolvency prevention measures for companies within the same group. This article aims to review and briefly analyze these updates, with a specific focus on preventive concordat procedures concerning group-affiliated companies.
