РЕЦЕПЦИЈА ДРАМЕ НАХОД СИМЕОН (1938) ТОДОРА МАНОЈЛОВИЋА: КАКО ЈЕ ПРЕДЛОЖАК ПОЈЕО ТЕКСТ?
THE RECEPTION OF TODOR MANOJLOVIĆ’S DRAMA NAHOD SIMEON: HOW DID THE TEMPLATE EAT THE TEXT?

Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the secondary sources of literature on the drama Nahod Simeon (1938) by Todor Manojlović. The work will be devoted to studies, articles and essays that pave the way for further studies of the drama by Todor Manojlović. Moreover, the paper will critically evaluate those studies which are written in a comparative key (Mustedanagić 2004, Radonjić 2007). The subject of the work also includes analytical and interpretative texts, as well as texts with a biographical approach (Toplovački 1978, Hajduković 2000). The review work about the theatrical legacy of Todor Manojlović written by Marta Frajnd will be observed along with the essay called "Dramatic circles of Todor Manojlović", based on previously mentioned Marta Frajnd's review text. We will also analyze the work of Bojana Popović published in the book Todor Manojlović and theater (2020). Apart from that, we will discuss an essay by Miloš Radojčić from 1939. called "Nahod Simeun – the drama of humankind", which represents one of the most original interpretations of Serbian oral legend about Nahod Simeon. We will also analyze a more recent study written by Đorđe N. Kebara called "Mitologica heroica: the grammar of the myth of Nahod Simeon".
