Summary/Abstract: Experience Urbo II is the result of a methodological empirical investigation into the representations of social distance between ethnic communities. In this survey was implemented in a "questionnaire" that simulates social situations: we submit to the educated youth (15-19 years) the simplified outline of an imaginary city. A series of instructions were accompanying the plan. At each meeting (555 total) were asked to place in the neighbourhoods of the city of monuments, events, social groups differentiated. A computer processing locations, depending on the environment, various communities was to develop a typology of respondents' attitudes towards certain aspects of immigration. Our aim was to advance understanding of cross-group contrasts. But also, we wanted to try some of our ideas on gathering information from players involved in complex social situation.
