Firstly, it covers the main framework of the investment process in Poland in terms of permit-granting and identifies the administrative decisions required for the construction of renewable energy ventures. On such grounds, further addressed are specific spatial, environmental, and construction issues related to the investment process of particular types of renewable energy installations – wind, solar, water, tidal, geothermal, ambient, and biofuel energy, as well as renewable hydrogen.
