Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the erotic stories written by Milorad Pavić, in which the eroticization of literature is recognized as a specific feature. Our research attention is focused on the stories “Nine Rains”, “Love Lesson from the Island of Lesbos” and “Waiting for a Taxi that No One Called”. Although Pavić's work has been a frequent subject of research for decades, the erotic aspect of his prose has remained neglected. In these stories, we recognize the thematization of eros while playing with literature itself or its mechanisms - writing, versification and reading. In this we clearly see the eroticization of literature, but also the postmodernist use of intertextuality. The aim of the paper is to indicate the presence of erotic intertextuality and eroticization of literature in Milorad Pavić’s prose, to shed light on the significant presence of eros in his prose and to fullfill the pages of the history of Serbian erotic literature.
