Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of the organizational processes of tourism formation in Poland. The main text comprises three parts. The first one explains some key concepts, such as tourism organization, tourism organizational system, or an evolutionary and revolutionary character of a system. The author notices that in the contemporary literature on the subject the first two concepts are often used as tools, without being clearly explained. The second part of the article shows the process of repeatedly introducing and forming new tourism organizational systems at different historical periods in Poland. It can be said that in this respect our country has become the master of “new beginnings”. This is additionally illustrated in Figure 2, in the third part of the article, devoted to establishing the essence of the evolutionary and revolutionary character of the discussed phenomenon. The author believes that the present system, introduced in a revolutionary way, has a good chance to evolve endogenically, unless something changes the course of history again.
