Summary/Abstract: The radicals argue that imperialism brings rivalry among developing countries, creating, on the basis of the realistic interpretation a “struggle “for the power balance. For radicals, the imperialism produces a hierarchical international system, which creates opportunities for several countries, organizations and individuals and obstacles for others. Developed countries could expand, creating the opportunity for the sale of goods and profits from the exports. At the same time, developing countries are always dependent and hindered by the actions of developed countries. Hobson, who rebuked the imperialism as irrational, dangerous, and potentially conflicting, did not see it as inevitable.
