Wooden Religious Buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Summary/Abstract: Wood, along with stone, is the most frequently used building material in the traditional architecture of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Although being an important element of traditional architecture, the sacral buildings made of wood were long - neglected. The text presents the author's observations on the architectural features of sacral buildings – log churches and wooden mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
