Summary/Abstract: The article discusses controversial issue regarding the origin of the mirror from barrow No. 447 at Zhurovka/Zhuravka village, which is associated either with the Scythians or with the Greeks. It belongs to the group of mirrors with combined handles, which are made of iron and bronze. The top and end of the handle are bronze onlays. The top is a nozzle with the image of a figurine of a lying deer, the end is a figurine of a lying animal. The trunk is straight, without ornament, made of iron. The mirror disk is round, flat. The method of mounting the disc and handle is rivets. New finds and further studies have confirmed the hypothesis of the influence of the classic tradition on its origin. It was possible to identify a very close image and a possible prototype for the figurine at the end of the mirror handle from barrow No. 447 near the village. Zhurovka/Zhuravka, which connects this specimen with the activities of Greek masters.
