Summary/Abstract: From everything presented in this modest work, it stands out not only the wealth of material that represents the diverse religious, educational and scientific activity of Gjeçov, but also the unusual care of the archivist who showed the preservation of the documents, the notes he kept, of correspondence etc. Regarding this, he claims that “I keep everything in my private archive”, Shtjefen Gjeçovi was not satisfied with the work he did in this regard. Being aware that the history of the Albanian people could only be scientifically written by relying on archival sources, he expressed in some of his writings the imperative need for the creation of a national historical archive, as well as an archaeological museum. in their absence, he fanatically preserved in his archive everything that served to illuminate the history of Albanians, both through written documents and archaeological or other objects that he discovered as a diligent researcher and tracker. Shtjefen Gjeçov’s fund holds No. 58, has a wealth of great national value in various fields, as an outstanding researcher of popular culture, translator, in the field of archeology, history, literary creativity and that of ethnography, etc. The materials of this fund have the following time limits, the years 1864-1942 and no year.
